My name is Anthony Pekar and was married 41 wonderful years to Lana (deceased). Three children and six grandchildren.

Lana and I moved from Des Plains, IL to Village of Round Lake Heights, IL in 2001. Lana and I were looking for a place to retire and she found Village of Round Lake Heights. The village reminded her of Kirksville Missouri her home town. Lana and I fell in love with the community and the northern Lake Country area.

I'm a retired teacher (34 yrs.) from the State of Illinois and the Chicago Public Schools. Retired from the community policing program (24 yrs.) where I developed and wrote anti-gang programs (still being used today) while working the streets of Chicago.

I'm privileged and honored to serve the Village of Round Lake Heights community as a Trustee.
